Fundatio Christiana Virtus co-sponsored the Benedict XVI Memoria at the Vatican on December 30-31, 2023, to mark the first year anniversary of the late Holy Father’s death. Talks about his life, teaching, and legacy were presented by his close associates, including prelates and clerics, as well as historians. The Memoria, which was organized by Fr. Ralph Weimann and broadcast by EWTN, included an Anniversary Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica celebrated by Archbishop Georg Gänswein and prayers at the Holy Father’s tomb. Cardinal Gerhard Müller and Cardinal Kurt Koch were among the prelates present. Representatives from Fundatio Christiana Virtus USA were honored to present an introduction to our association and received heartfelt appreciation from many attendees for FCV’s co-sponsorship.
